A new adrenaline auto injector (Anapen) is now available in Australia

For the last many years, only one adrenaline auto injector (EpiPen) was available in Australia for children and adults suffering from life threatening allergies. 

 A second adrenaline auto injector (Anapen) is now available on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) from 1 September 2021, giving patients the choice of medication to treat life threatening allergies (anaphylaxis).
